T.E.S.S. FZCO in Dubai and Oman-based Suhail Bahwan Group (http://www.suhailbahwangroup.com/) have been awarded to deliver TETRA infrastructure and services, along-side various additional communication equipment, for a new Oil & Gas installation in the Sultanate of Oman. The system will be delivered to British Petroleum in Oman. They have been awarded the right to appraise and develop gas from the Khazzan and Makarem contract area in central Oman which extends to approximately 2800 sq km.
The fully TETRA-over-IP system consists of the flexible UTOD (http://www.utodsystems.com) system equipment and special software applications. UTOD GmbH is a TETRA technology manufacturer based in Germany. UTOD products are developed for industries and organizations with a high demand for reliable communication and future oriented solutions.
